Nanominerals Corp. (NMC) grew into a nanomineral company quite serendipitously. Our involvement in mineral exploration began in a project with a 10+ year history. Several companies spent substantial sums of money hoping to solve the complexities of a non-conventional deposit.

Precious metals were extracted but results were inconsistent and without scientific explanation when using "industry standard" geological and metallurgical methods. For example, leaching methods would extract precious metals from material on which standard fire assay methods would report no value.

NMC set out to scientifically explain why these precious metal deposits were different and put the skeptics' arguments to rest. This journey led our scientific team to a place they did not expect, with far-reaching applications - the emerging field of nanotechnology.
